 The bayon temple: It was built at the end of 12th century (early 13th century) in the reing of buddhist king JAYAVARMAN VII for dedicating buddism it was taken nearly 20 years

on the former foundation (1181-1218 AD).

THE WATER FALL AT PHNOM KULEN

 The water fall on the top of Kolen mountian it was location 28 km north east of angkor eara reing of king JAYAVARMAN II (802-50 AD).

  It's natural mountain on the peak, which was built one temple. Symboling the homage of the god king and this temple was erected in the reing of king YASOVARMAN I in the end of 9th century ofter he had replaced from the preceding capital HARIHARALAYA (Roluos Group).

 

 

 

BAKSEI CHAMKRONG

In formertime the people of Cambodia always said that there was one big bird had come to protect one baby and I had heard this guession make me remember the founder one of name JASOVARMAN I who had died in 910 and he remained two royal sons HASAVARMAN I (900-944) and ISANVARMAN II.

The temple was built not far from Baksei Chamkrong it was built by HASAVARMAN I reing in early 10th century dedicated to Siva. Because we can see the secred Linga to prove and decorated by lintel like elephant (AIRAVAN) was being on by INDRA this temple was built by laterites base and brick towers.

 

 

 

ANGKOR THOM SOUTH GATE 200px-Angkor_Thom_Porta_Sud_interior.jpg: Angkor Thom is the name of capital it is not name of temple but there have still seen many temples inside : Bayon, Bapuon, Phimeanakas, Terrace of elephant, Terrace of leper-king so on (late 12th-early 13th centuries).

 

 

 

 

 

BAPHUON TEMPLE

  Baphoun is one temple situated 200m nouth west from Bayon it was built in the middle 11th century in the reing of king Udayadityavarman II for consecrate to the god Himasrengasvara (drink blood).Measuring 120 meters by 100 meters and standing probably about fifty meters tall including the tower, the Baphuon was at once imposing and ethereal. While the king intended the Baphuon to be a temple to the Hindu god Shiva, the 15th century saw a change of political climate, and it was rededicated to Buddha.

 

 

 

TERRACE OF ELEPHANT 200px-Terrace-of-the-elephants.jpg: The terrace of elephant is in the east-side of Phimeanakas it's 350m long 14m wide 2,5m deep with 3 stairs. Decorated by Garuda supporting it's symboled the Sky palace. On the wall can be seen the fingure of elephants,in face it's the elephant hunting not elephant fighting.

 

 

PHIMEAN AKAS

Why was king's palace called Phimean akas?

Because it's symboled of sky palace. It was built since 944 or 945 by king Rajendravarman II, after he had returned back from Kos Ker former capital of Jayavarman IV north east 70km from angkor thom city.

Terrace of leper king it is symboled the crematorium which was cramated . I mean the death of Jama of budddhism « Thommaraja » was place in to the crematorium. ( Reing of king Jayavarman VII end of 12th century ).

 

 

TA KEO

Ta keo is one temple which was symboled Meru mountaim and it was founded at the second half of 10th century. It was built in the reing of king Jayavarman V for dedicating ot Siva proving the sacred bull on the east side.

Ta Phromh temple : it was built in the reing of king Jayavarman VII in the second half of 12th century 1186 for dedicating to his mother «Pragnaparamita» (female divinity) in that time this statue was placed in the central tower, we can see many halls setting by golds and gems, the second gallery placed probably over 200 of statue of buddha the inscription tells us that there were 12640 inhabitants of which 13 were high priests, 2740 officials, 2232 assitants, and 615 dancers. Most of tourists would like to go there in order to taking the photo like to root of trees.
